We believe that music is a powerful way to communicate the joy, hope, and comfort there is in Christ. Music has always been an important part of worship here at First Presbyterian Church. There are many opportunities for you to become actively involved in our comprehensive music ministry.

Carol Choir
Ages 3yrs - 1st grade
Rehearsals: Sunday 9:50 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Our young singers learn that God loves them and that singing  is a wonderful way to express their love back to God.

Kids of the Kingdom
Grades 2-5 
Rehearsals: Sunday 9:50 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Here we continue to develop the musical training begun in the Carol Choir, with emphasis upon correct vocal production and singing in two-part harmony. In addition to singing anthems at regular worship services, Kids of the Kingdom presents Christian musicals.

Kingdom Chimes
Grades 3-5
Rehearsals: Sunday 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Introduction to the art of hand chime ringing, teaching rhythm and music reading.

The BELLievers
Grades 6-8
Rehearsals: Wednesday 5 p.m.
This handbell group is for experienced ringers. Ability to read music is a definite plus.

Chancel Choir
The mission of the Chancel Choir is to glorify God through choral excellence. In addition to preparing inspiring choral music for morning worship services, the Chancel Choir presents seasonal concerts with professional orchestra. Our purpose is to witness our faith in God to fellow believers and non-believers through sacred song. No audition is required, just a love of singing to God's glory. Rehearsals Wednesday 7:30-9 p.m.

Spirit Song
Comprised of selected voices from the Chancel Choir, this advanced ensemble's mission is to glorify God by pursuing the art of choral singing at its finest, exploring challenging sacred literature representing a wide variety of stylistic periods. In addition to enriching our worship services, Spirit Song presents special programs at many churches, in addition to philanthropic and service organizations throughout the Southwest. (Audition required.) Rehearsals: Sunday 4:30-6 p.m.

Jubilee Singers
This gospel music group presents a unique style of music for worship services, and provides a musical outreach by performing extensively throughout the Las Vegas Valley. (Audition required.) Rehearsals: Tuesday 7-8 p.m.

Chancel Bells
Some music reading ability is helpful but previous bell ringing experience is not necessary for this group composed of men and women. You will have fun! Rehearsals: Wednesday 6:15-7:15 p.m.

Rejoice! Ensemble
The art of handbells is stretched to its maximum potential. An interview and firm commitment are required for membership in this special group. Rehearsals: Thursday 5:30-7 p.m.
